Just as harm to the environment anywhere on earth by anyone is harm to ALL, harm to DHARMA by anyone any where is also harm to ALL !
Opportunity for the Vatican to avoid another apology!
Why is this, and other temple chariots are burning?
Respected Pope Francis,
I am an Indian scientist living in the USA. I was born at Church Street, Bobbili, Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh, India. I attended Sunday school, spent my childhood playing with the Roman Catholic Church school father and brothers, where my mother worked as a teacher. I was not converted into a Christian, but for the past 38 years of living in Paris and New York, people generally refer to me as a good Christian.
In general, man turns to God when he faces tough times. In this instance — desecration and burning, the latest one, of Hindu religious idols, symbols in Andhra Pradesh, bring religion to the forefront. The political party in power, presumably, letting these happen with interest to encourage conversions to develop their vote bank in the name of Christianity.
The unprovoked attack on the Hindu majority will result in a massive reaction. The unrest between Hindus and Christians will escalate. Selfish people and people against God use this to derive their unholy pleasures.
Therefore I request your holy atma to see the situation and take necessary action to stop the burnings and attacks on Hindu Dharma. The Dharma in which I was raised taught me — Athidhi Devo Bhava (Guest is God). I am sure millions of Indians following this Dharma will see you in the same way. Indias have seen Christianity as a symbol of service through schools and hospitals. But now it’s taking a ‘U’ turn and becoming ugly, as it is moving towards the behavior of the other Abrahamic religion in India.
I have taken this extraordinary step to write to you because, with one word from you towards peaceful coexistence, we all can avoid untold misery and unfurling hell for over a billion Indians belonging to all religions.
You are surrounded by the best of the best, brilliant Cardinals. Your call to anyone on earth makes them a pious person, so if you act now, it will not only avoid future apologies by the Vatican but also bring peace now.
