Harmonizing health & biodiversity, our melodic food for health rhymes initiative can ignite kid’s love for diverse foods in a fun and engaging way.

Recognizing that children’s limited diet impacts both their health and the planet’s biodiversity, we propose to foster a love for diverse foods through the universal language of music. We created nursery rhymes each featuring a different food item, set to familiar tunes. We hope these rhymes will not only educate children about the nutritional benefits of various foods but also stimulate demand for diverse crops, ultimately contributing to biodiversity.

This initiative promises a fun, engaging way to cultivate healthier habits in children while safeguarding our planet.

Custard Apple: Custard Apple, soft and sweet, a tropical treat that’s hard to beat!

Suggested Tune: “This Old Man”

🎵 **Custard apple**, oh so sweet,

With creamy flesh that’s neat.

Full of fiber, vitamins too,

Custard apple, we love you!

Rich in Vitamin C, for health’s sake,

And magnesium, for heart’s wake.

In a pudding or a pie,

Custard apple, you’re our guy.

Custard apple, oh so sweet,

Eating you is such a treat!

With potassium for blood pressure control,

Custard apple, you’re good for the soul.

So here’s to the custard apple, so divine,

In health and taste, you truly shine!

Custard apple, oh so sweet,

Eating you is such a treat! 🎵
