Food for Health–Rhymes–Lemon-298/365
Harmonizing health & biodiversity, our melodic food for health rhymes initiative can ignite kids’ love for diverse foods in a fun and engaging way.
Recognizing that children’s limited diet impacts their health and the planet’s biodiversity, we propose to foster a love for diverse foods through the universal language of music. We created nursery rhymes, each featuring a different food item, set to familiar tunes. We hope these rhymes will not only educate children about the nutritional benefits of various foods but also stimulate demand for diverse crops, ultimately contributing to biodiversity.
This initiative promises a fun, engaging way to cultivate healthier habits in children while safeguarding our planet.
Lemon: Bright and tart, a citrusy start, adding zest to every part!
Tune: “Mary Had a Little Lamb”
🎵 Lemon is a yellow treat,
It makes your food taste fine.
It’s sour, fresh, and fun to eat,
A fruit that’s so divine. 🎵
🎵 It’s packed with healthy vitamin C,
To keep you strong and well.
It fights off colds and keeps you free,
A story it can tell. 🎵
🎵 Squeeze it on your salad or tea,
It makes the flavor shine.
Its tangy taste is loved, you’ll see,
A treasure so divine. 🎵
🎵 Lemon is a cheerful sight,
It keeps us feeling great.
It adds a zest that feels just right,
A fruit to celebrate! 🎵
